Last week I spent quality time back home in the Netherlands. Since I moved to Copenhagen, spending time with friends and family seems to be more exclusive. But because of my work in Rotterdam, I’m still able to visite home often.
Thanks everyone for having me over! I would like to share a few pictures with you. Everytime the mussels are in season, my dad invites me to eat them together. An offer I can’t refuse. And as a dessert, we had home grown raspberries.
On the last summer day at the beach, we enjoyed the sunshine but also got a preview of the autumn after a thunder storm. We settled inside, played cards and ate apple pie. Jummiee! After a while when the sun came back, we had a nice play on the swing. I can’t imagine a more perfect last day of summer…
As the season is changing to autumn, a new chapter is starting for my best friend Madri as well. She is expecting her first child in November. This wheelbarrow is empty now, but I’m sure it will soon be filled with beautiful memories that you will create together with Zoe and the baby boy!
